Burton Menswear have collaborated with the Royal College of Art to produce a collection made from British fabrics that re-visit the brand's roots. This heritage-heavy range has been designed by one of RCA's students, Liam Hodges, who takes inspiration from the Minor's Strikes of the '80s. Through this we see a lot of thick wools and workwear influences as well as some slim-fit tailoring.

There's also footwear and accessories - some of which you can see pictured below - as well as statement knits and selvedge denim. Burton Menswear have taken this collaboration very seriously with the British fabrics, modern heritage vibe and a surprisingly vast offering. The Kardashian's at Dorothy Perkins can move aside - it's not about foreign imports here.

The Italian megabrand have announced that they'll be introducing the Versace Underwear and Beachwear collections for Spring/Summer 13. The collection launches in January so we don't mean to tease, we're just very keen to share this little preview. Plus it should have us all thinking about our resort vacations in the new year - time to try a cruise perhaps?

As you can see from the images above and below, Versace's signature Greek key motif emblazons the underwear waistband whilst the swimming trunks feature statement florals for something quite exotic. It's never anything quiet with this brand and precisely why they are a favourite - plus you also have the option to treat that special female someone with their women's offering [pictured left].

Labels for Less giant TK Maxx have recently launched their Mod Box range for men at select stores. This new department - housed in 15 locations nationwide - features classic casuals such as printed tees, sweaters, jeans and chinos at really great prices. We paid a little visit to the Brixton location in London to check it out and see what we could find.

Our video below gives you a little insight into the Mod Box style and we of course put a little outfit together from a couple of our favourite pieces - images below. The collection features less mainstream brands such as premium denim label Trousers London to urban labels such as Beck & Hersey. It's definitely a great department for finding something quick for the weekend so be sure to find your local Mod Box.

Trussardi have us sorted for the cold season on those cool crisp sunny days with their Winter sunglasses range. They're also a fantastic Christmas gift idea - can't really go wrong with a pair of designer sunnies to be quite frank.

Our favourites below feature classic wayfarer and more rounded frames with the nicest tortoiseshell styles we've seen in a very long time. Again perfect Xmas present - you could also opt for their 'My Land' fragrance as a garnish gift too - it's all about giving!

Timberland have once again collaborated with Stussy Deluxe to bring us an updated take on their classic Field Boot. It's a military Special Forces inspired style with a 100% suede upper featuring canvas and leather accents - really nice textures. It's practical but at the same time it's just a very nice boot that comes in two colourways - tan and black - as can be seen in the images below.

There's also a short but very nice promo video of the Timberland for Stussy Deluxe Field Boot, which you can also view below. The two brands have been collaborating together since the late noughties and are both incredible at what they do. That's why when you see them partner up like this you know it's going to be something worth chatting about. Theses boots are exclusive to Stussy Chapter stores and at their e-commerce store.

Headwear afficionados New Era have very recently launched a new limited edition range exclusive to Footlocker stores in Europe.  This latest 6-piece collection [as pictured] features vintage-inspired National Hockey League logos. This includes the six original teams who played the 25 seasons between 1942 and 1967: Boston Bruins, Chicago Black Hawks, Detroit Red Wings, Montreal Canadians, New York Rangers and the Toronto Maple Leafs. To be honest we just love the vintage styles but in a way this news is also fitting with the impending Winter ice we're soon to face.

Diesel have re-launched a '90s classic this month with their 'YUK' shoe in two colourways. Based around a pre-internet campaign, the re-introduction of this style that we first saw in 1993 is trying to encourage us to 'go offline' for three days in an attempt to remember what life was like before all the cyber chaos. They've introduced an app and you can read more on this here.

As for the actual footwear we're loving a bit of the '90s revival and the Diesel 'YUK' shoe is an absolute winner in our books. It's available in navy and red at £100 and is most definitely bulking out our Xmas wishlists even further. These canvas shoes feature thick two-tone rubber soles with contrast stitching and a classic statement logo - any sneaker afficionado will certainly get on board with these beauts.

We take a look at some of the latest offerings from JD Sports and specifically the pieces exclusive to them to see what we can grab this Winter. There are some great gift ideas but let's be self-indulgent and look at what you might like to treat yourself too - or perhaps what you might like to add to you own wishlist.

Check out our top picks of the AW12 JD Sports exclusives [pictured below] featuring on-trend camo print, classic pieces such as chinos and shawl-collar cardigans as well as a touch of vintage-feel with great rucksacks in the mix too. As you would expect, they also have a vast range of hoodies and sweatshirts that would suit any super casual day - or your morning jog of course.

The newest House of Holland underwear launches in Selfridges this week and it's ever so slightly toned down in comparison to their previous offerings. The 'Devore' range proceeds the début slogan and neon collections and whilst it's a little more demure at first glance the pieces are actually still quite cheeky with sheer fabric for the House of Holland logo - that  just so happens to be all over the underwear.

If see-through is your thing then you'll be all over this stuff - this is just  the kind of typical HH quirk that we can get on board with. The 'Devore' collection features briefs [£18], hipsters [£21] and vests [£28] for men that we'd recommend as more of a treat for yourself than a gift for someone. And we can't promise that they're going to hide much of your modesty.

One of our favourite footwear brands Palladium have recently enlisted the help of Glaswegian graffiti artist Smug to create a large mural showcasing their latest Waterproof Collection. The work can be found near the brand's Boxpark shop in Shoreditch, London and there's even a video following the making of the mural - see below.

This little initiative is just another insight into how Palladium truly showcase their urban nature, making connections on all sorts of levels. We also love their recent film with urban explorer Steve Duncan who takes us below the streets - check it out here. Again this is centred around the Waterproof Collection and you can see a couple of our favourite styles pictured below.

Christmas lights have been switching on all over the world and Tie Rack, one of our favourite accessory brands, made sure not to miss the illuminations at their store in Oxford Street, London. Our friends at HADENOUGH MEDIA were there to catch the action - see video below. The event also marked the launch of new season partywear for the brand and of course we've had a visual rummage and selected some of our favourite pieces.

For Autumn/Winter 12, Tie Rack have some great little pieces and we particularly like their slick but slightly kitsch prints this season - check out the pheasant-print silk below. There's also some very suave leather goods like their croc-print tablet case [pictured left] - not partywear sure but a great Christmas gift idea at only £39.50.

The day has finally arrived for the latest H&M collaborative collection to hit select stores around the world. The highly anticipated Maison Martin Margiela with H&M range for Autumn/Winter 2012 features both menswear and womenswear in the French label's contemporary signature. There's statement pieces in Autumnal colours such as the faux fur and suede coats [featured below]. We also love the modern take on the classic camel coat [pictured left] with innovative "inside-out" lapels.

As well as the outerwear there is a selection of separates including jeans, shirts, tops, waistcoats and blazers. Below you can also see some of the Maison Martin Margiela with H&M shoes and accessories - the white hi-tops in particular have caught our attention. In the lookbook images you can see even more pieces as well as ideas on how one can wear this slick yet playful collection.

The Autumn/Winter Sports Luxe Range from Freddy is just the kind of motivation some of us will need to keep at it during the Winter months. It's their use of high quality jersey to keep you warm on those cold mornings and the classic Varsity styling of the garments to keep you looking decent. On the other hand their collection is just as perfect for any lazy day and cosy Sunday - a lifestyle that admittedly we're more likely to follow.

The Autumn/Winter range also features more practical separates such as nylon and feather jackets for when it gets rather chilly as well as a selection of knitwear - perfect for layering. The brand has a heritage in the world of dance and performing arts with technical footwear including demi-pointe ballet shoes. They've come a long way since and with a lot more to offer so be sure to keep your eye on this one.
