The Frye Company's AW12 Video Campaign and Collection

The roots for American heritage brand The Frye Company go as far down as 1863 as a company specialising in worker boots for labourers in Marlboro, Massachusetts. Well over a century later and with a flagship store in New York City, Frye have established themselves as a leader in the leather goods market. 

With clean cut shoes, rugged boots and hard-wearing sneakers it's all about longevity with these pieces and the price-tags are cheaper than a lot designer gear that's out there. Their AW12 video campaign [below] was shot in Wyoming - mountains, lakes and  leather boots - just perfect.

Palladium Releases "Undercity : Las Vegas" Film for AW12 Campaign

Footwear brand Palladium have released a new video campaign for AW12 that celebrates the launch of their new waterproof style [pictured left]. The video [below] created by cinematographer Andrew Wonder and urban explorer Steve Duncan features an exploration beneath the city of sin. 

The video takes us away from the lights and sounds of Las Vegas to the subterranean tunnel system where we can see the boots at work. At least we now know what to buy when we want to stylishly trudge through sewer systems.

Armani Exchange Expand British Presence with New Stores

The high-street branch of the Armani superbrand - A|X Armani Exchange - is set to open more doors across the country as they continue to expand. The first at Sheffield's Meadowhall Centre will see it's first customers on the 4th September shortly followed by a new location at the Friary Centre in Guildford on the 6th of September. Fellow Welsh neighbours will have to wait till October for their A|X store at the St David's centre in Cardiff - still before Xmas so fret not. 

Also pictured above and left are images from the brand's latest campaign shot by Matthew Scrivens in New York while below is a peek at the AW12 lookbook. The collection is slick yet laid back - typical A|X style and exactly why love this younger sibling of the Armani family.

A La Male recently went behind-the-scenes at River Island's latest campaign shoot for their new Holloway Road collection.
