Italian fashion brand 55DSL have collaborated with Little White Lies magazine to produce a range of exclusive t-shirt designs inspired by a short film called "Beyond Mountains, More Mountains" commisioned by the clothing label earlier this year. The film [featured below] tells the story of an Italian road trip from the north of the country down to Stromboli in the south.

This self-proclaimed "celebration of artistry and creativity" features designs from various methods including woodcut, pen and ink by art director Paul Willoughby and the creative team at LWLies based on the CANADA produced film. The range is available exclusively online at ASOS and at the 55DSL Boxpark Store in Shoreditch, London.

With party season upon us we're very fond of looking our best - especially when all those hats and overcoats come off. Apparel is one thing but face, body and mind is a whole other area. This is where London's top male grooming emporium The Refinery comes into the equation. This very slick and effortlessly masculine destination for men in the heart of Mayfair [and also found in Harrods, Knightsbridge] offers any gentleman a place to re-cooperate before, after or even during work.

From synchronised manicure/haircuts to de-stressing aromatherapy massages it's a place where you can fix up and look sharp before an important event or you can simply treat it as the perfect inner-city getaway. With high-profile clients, expert staff and a range of top quality products [own range pictured below] we highly recommend you pay The Refinery a little visit - you'll be a regular in no time.

'Tis the season of parties and occasions as everyone gears up for the Christmas period, which by the arrival of Xmas crackers in our supermarkets and the lighting of festive lights appears to have already arrived. Today's menswear news however is all about the brand new Brioni tuxedo exclusive to Mr Porter.

This mighty fine wool tuxedo in a highly favoured midnight-blue features grosgrain-trimmed peaked lapels [that ribbed texture], full lining and double vents. That full tuxedo - jacket and trousers - is available for £3,685. More grosgrain silk can be found with the matching bow-tie [£125] and cummerbund [£300] and then of course there's the less-than-traditional light blue cotton tuxedo shirt [pictured left] priced at £300. Dear Santa...

Fashion mastermind Karl Lagerfeld is the brains behind fashion houses such as Chanel and Fendi but it's his own namesake label that has caught our attention recently. For the Autumn/Winter 12 Lagerfeld collection we can expect to see a lot of tailored casuals with leather outerwear, military-inspired jackets and the odd bit of glamour with fur collars and velvet blazers.

To accompany this particularly slick collection are some mighty fine accessories [pictured below] with some incredible leather pieces - we especially like the doctor-style hold-all. Quite a few statement pieces, but it is a statement collection - well a bit rock'n'roll anyway and we're certainly keen to see what's next.

London-based luxury retailer Duchamp have all the markings of a quintessentially British brand that, even though they are 23 years young, still feel as though they are absolutely steeped in heritage. Known for their accessories, Duchamp have a rich offering of ties, cufflinks and pocket squares to accompany their growing apparel collection.

For Autumm/Winter the brand have fused classic British heritage, using fabrics such as Harris Tweed, with a dandy-esque style found in statement checks [like the coat pictured left, now on sale at £440] and colourful cords. They've also incorporated wax cotton jackets into the range so they've got the practical side covered too - again most of it is currently on sale so be sure to check out the available styles online.

We love a bit of Harris Tweed here at A La Male and Nicholas Deakins has tickled our fancy again with their latest collaboration incorporating some fantastic heritage styling. Their latest offering for AW12 features four-button pique polos that have been given a fresh lease of life in the form of Harris Tweed pocket detailing with subtle bursts of orange and blue.

The Steed Harris Polo is available at £45 - a brilliantly modest price for an ultimately timeless piece. Beyond this, Nicholas Deakins also introduce the Laverick Harris boot at £105 [pictured below] - a very nice piece for the cold season, hand-made in Spain from the finest full-grain waxy leather.

East London's alternative and creative hub sees the arrival of it's namesake Dalston Department Store who have collaborated with the East London Design Show in this four day pop-up event. It's all about premium British Independent product, interior and jewellery designers here this weekend where you'll find them within a stunning industrial-retail setting.

After making your way through the goods elevator you'll find yourself amongst a mix of some great UK menswear labels including D.S. Dundee, Hancock and Percival [pictured left]. We really support this kind of initiative to promote home-grown talent, which of course we stress to you as well - at the end of the day it's another excuse to go shopping.
