This week saw the opening of the two-week pop-up shop by English heritage brand Peregrine. You'll find the AW12 collection at the Cube pop-up space over the next fortnight as well as archive imagery depicting Peregrine's rich history. The brand was created in 1956 from a heritage that already spanned 160 years.

Many years later and we're seeing modern and timeless classics made from choice British textiles. Even staple pieces such as the Woodford Biker Jacket [pictured left] can be found in the new collection - again made on home soil. It's certainly a country-to-city coat, perfect for Winter with it's waterproof and spot clean qualities. Also at £245 you can't go wrong with something as ultimately and stylishly British as this.

While the sun is still on the periphery of our weather maps we can all hold on to some hope! Also let's not forget the October heatwave that we normally get - fingers crossed - or anyone jetting off to somewhere exotic in the near future will be able to take advantage of the new casual footwear range from Canterbury. The New Zealand born brand has a heritage that extends over a century with firm roots in rugby so it's great to see a further step into lifestyle products.

The Rotarua [pictured left] is a mere £37.39 and great as an everyday shoe with some nice heel detail thrown in, whilst the Hamilton is priced at £25.99 and is a perfect beach shoe. So those are the newbies - now would anyone care to whisk us off to some of those amazing Kiwi beaches out there?

Vogue's Fashion Night out saw London town ablaze with fashionistas, fashionistos, free booze and LOTS of shopping. The global event had it's 4th birthday last night with stores opening their doors till late and offering all sorts. We specifically made our way to Regent Street to check out the new Superdry premium denim collection for AW12. Ladies also had manicures and airbrush makeovers going on. If you missed out - you seriously missed out.

The denim has an array of washes and cuts with unique little details all over the place - but get an expert to show you the ins and outs. Deon [pictured left] is a little lady with a lot of knowledge. She will have shaped and sized you up before you've even introduced yourself. This marvellous denim specialist is there Monday to Friday and she'll be sure to help you find your perfect fit.

High-street label Matalan have some great pieces in their AW12 collection with rich colours, masculine coats and classic accessories. This is definitely one of those "get the look for less" type of brands but at least they have the product to back it up. We are already loosening the purse strings for that belted coat [pictured above] and at £30 it's hardly breaking the bank!

Even the campaign is rather suave this season and they have an even better behind-the-scenes video for their campaign shoot which you can watch here - Matalan AW12. Not that we're condoning Xmas shopping at this time of the year, but we do know that some of you just can't help yourselves and Matalan is certainly a helpful destination that won't see you smashing any porcelain piggies. £30 for that coat - still in awe.

More store openings this week come in the form of OTHER / SHOP - the latest venture from Matthew Murphy and Kirk Beattie, formerly of b store. The new shop will take over the original b store location leaving the brand as an online-only retailer. Like it's predecessor, OTHER acts as a platform for new and unknown designers/brands including the likes of Berthold, Marwood and Christopher Lemaire.

They of course still house a collection of b store's own line and also plan on collaborating with a selection of fashion and lifestyle brands in the future. We'll save that for another news feature but at the moment you can find clothing, accessories, homeware and books online and in-store as well as an exhibition space at the shop.

The high-street branch of the Armani superbrand - A|X Armani Exchange - is set to open more doors across the country as they continue to expand. The first at Sheffield's Meadowhall Centre will see it's first customers on the 4th September shortly followed by a new location at the Friary Centre in Guildford on the 6th of September. Fellow Welsh neighbours will have to wait till October for their A|X store at the St David's centre in Cardiff - still before Xmas so fret not.

Also pictured above and left are images from the brand's latest campaign shot by Matthew Scrivens in New York while below is a peek at the AW12 lookbook. The collection is slick yet laid back - typical A|X style and exactly why love this younger sibling of the Armani family.

River Island are making their first festival appearance this year at Reading this weekend with their pop-up Exchange shop. Their Swap-Shop concept gives guys the chance to part ways with their old clothing and get some brand new threads from the brand. And it's absolutely free. We kid you not!

As well as giving away clothes, there will also be an exclusive range of festival accessories on sale to keep you styled up and entertained. For anyone who hasn't set out for the weekend yet, be sure to check out our in-store and online recommendations [pictured above]. Torrential rain is obviously on the cards and plenty of mud too in case you were wondering so make sure you take the necessaries!

Hitting the high street now are French Connection's AW12 new arrivals with some great smart/casual pieces. The brand has always offered very slick yet toned down clothing and for the new season we can see that they've got a very laid back utilitarian vibe going on. We love the pop of colour in the chinos [pictured above] next to a  wide selection of quite muted tones - this collection is certainly all about practical style.

Timeless accessories like the leather phone case and canvas tote [pictured above] are keen favourites. You got to love comfy sweats too and their "Typo Wool Jumper" [pictured left] is great for lazy casual days or whenever you're in the mood to give the world a big middle F. All in good humour of course.

High-street staple Tie Rack have released their brand new campaign in collaboration with fashion illustrator Jacqueline Bissett alongside some super sharp pieces for the AW12 season. With the introduction of new accessories including tie clips [available in metals including silver and platinum] and a new creative campaign, the brand are showing us a much slicker profile than we're used to.

Tie Rack has always been seen as the one-stop shop for sartorial accessories and we felt that we just had to get involved somehow. See our behind-the-scenes look at the new campaign and collections available in-store now:
Tie Rack London - AW12 collection Launch from HaDenough? Media on Vimeo.

A word from Tie Rack's Head of Marketing - Keata Murray:

"I was ecstatic to secure leading fashion illustrator Jacqueline Bissett to create our campaign for Autumn/Winter 2012.

The collaboration will see her illustrate 24 watercolour images, used mainly as window posters featuring 4 characters. Two for our main range aptly name Isabelle and Tom and two for our premium collection Black Label named Charlotte and Hugo.  Using subtle autumnal tones the imagery has a vintage, classic feel where our hero accessories have been photographed and superimposed onto the illustrations.  This new style reflects our brand essence, honed over the last 30 years, to provide design led, quality driven accessories which always deliver value and evokes our fantastic new strap line (also launching for the 1st time this season) ‘The Perfect Finish’.

We really believe we’ll get a reaction from this collaboration and look forward to developing it even further."

The current campaign [pictured top] is quite minimal but we'll see an injection of colour by the end of September with the updated look for Autumn - featuring hats, scarves and illustrations of foliage and bare trees. We'll be sure to reveal the Christmas campaign when it's a bit more appropriate - we're still lapping up the heat over here.
